Getting comfortable with bieng uncomfortable
About The Session

As women, we encounter many uncomfortable situations, both physical and emotional. When it comes to protecting ourselves, these situations can sometimes put us in a state of freeze where we feel helpless. In this session, we will explore judo-centric self-defense techniques for situations where one is pinned to the ground or attacked. We will begin and end with grounding and breathing techniques to help center ourselves emotionally and physically. The central message of the session is that no matter the size and strength of your attacker, there are always ways to overpower them.
