About The Session

In this session, I will be doing multiple exercises which can be discussed in detail. These will focus on the following themes: worldview, resilience strengths quiz, and reading materials in the form of handouts or presentations. Topics will include self-care for caregivers, caregiver self-wellbeing assessment, developing distress tolerance, and dealing with uncertainty, anxiety, and the stress of caregiving through the 'Circle of Concern' activity by Stephen Covey. Lastly, we will do a 'Safe Space' activity that aims to help participants develop a sense of safety, comfort, calm, and peace in times of caregiving overwhelm.

Nina Siddiqui is a dynamic Applied Psychologist with a passion for mental health advocacy Armed with a Certification in Humanistic Counseling from CPCAB-UK (Level 3), Nina brings a compassionate and holistic approach to her work as a mental health professional.Currently she works for an International Non Profit. In addition to her expertise in psychology, Nina is also holds Graduate Certificate in Education from Australian Catholic University. With her unique blend of expertise and passion, Nina continues to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities alike.
