The aim of this workshop is to demonstrate to participants how they can beautify and intensify their dhikr, or remembrance of Allah, by incorporating correct pronunciation and applying the rules of Quranic intonation (tajwid) in their recitation. It will show how perfecting their enunciation of the Divine verses can unlock the hidden gates of spirituality within the Glorious Book of Allah. Join this session as I guide you in delving deeper into the realm of inner peace, attainable only through mindfulness and remembrance of Allah.
My name is Safwan Ullah Khan; I am an aerospace engineer by qualification, and an air traffic controller by profession. I have always had an intrinsic passion for melody, and harmony, and as I came of age, I found myself gradually immersed in Quranic mysticism. Over the years, I have been learning the Quranic Arabic, and Tajwid, to gain deeper comprehension of the Book; as well as Persian, mainly to enchant myself with Molana Rumi's unparalleled mystical poetry. The reason I'm here is that I just felt like passing on what little knowledge I have, in hope that others may truly benefit from it.
